Nadia Mora

Nadia Mora is American-Nicaraguan of Mestizo origin (Afro-Caribbean, from the indigenous peoples, Sutiaba, white). She has extensive experience in education and has developed training and leadership programs for community building.

 

In 2008 she moved to California where she served as part of the Strategic Planning team in the Community Development Program aimed at the Hispanic community in Northern and Central California, which seeks to support social justice through the integration of communities of color and the transformation of the housing system.

 

She is an active member of the Mountain View Solidarity Fund, the Mountain View Community Land Trust, Community Action Team, Ambassadors Program of the Civic Leadership Academy of the City of Mountain View, Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF), SV@Home, South Bay Community Land Trust, Latino Community Foundation, San Francisco Foundation, Urban Habitat, and the BCLI Program.
